My Chemical Romance's World Contamination Tour will be coming to North America this Spring, according to a new blog post on the band's official website!

A special pre-sale for registered members of MyChemicalRomance.Com will begin this Wednesday, November 17.

The North American dates listed on the band's tour page span from the beginning of April to the end of May and include both Canadian and American tour stops!

Okay another question, why are they playing smaller venues this year? Last year they were playing the big Saddledome in Calgary. Not that I mind, I love MacEwan... but just curious.

I just hope they'll announce a Mexico date sometime soon, since we ARE a part of North America...
(Sorry, I'm still bummed that Linkin Park didn't count us in for their sort-of-Latin-American-Tour and still don't count us in for their North American tour... someone's gotta tell Warner Music suits that my country is a part of the continent...)

i'm sure you know about the contest for this tour.... but do you know if we can enter for it more than once? someone please respond? i read the rules and i didn't see it directly banned, but it kind of sounds like it might be disqualified? help! i don't know what to do :(
what is everyone else's honest take on this?

I take it you're not entering by redeeming your download code for the tickets? When you do that, I believe, you are automatically entered, and you can only enter once using that method. However, I'm going to assume you get a download code for each show you plan to attend? I didn't look too closely at the rules because I knew I would only be entering by using my one ticket code.

If you are entering using the form, only do it once just to be safe. Submitting multiple entries, I assume, just causes trouble for the people who are selecting the winners.

yeah, thanks! that's what i meant. :) so it's once per show? I redeemed one, & i wasn't sure about redeeming the other or if it was once per person/once per show....

and yes, that's how i see it. i also think the form could cause a problem with selecting the winner if someone enters more than once for the same show... it wouldn't be fair. that's why i kind of wish they didn't add the form... i would really hope that they don't include those people... i'm thinking maybe they filter through it by name? i hope they do something..

sorry if i'm obsessing over this, but i would just want a fair chance at finally meeting my favorite band - because for the last 6 years i've had no success... and i really want/need my best chance at this point XD

Ha-ha! It's perfectly understandable. I actually got the same question from about 5+ people last night; so, I finally asked about it, but I haven't gotten a response. I think a lot of people are confused. It seems they would address it somehow, hopefully soon.

I don't want to give you any sort of definite answer myself, because I'm not sure.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but I'll post here if I hear anything. :]

yeah, it's okay. i figured i couldn't really expect a definate answer... i don't think anybody is positive right now (except everyone behind the contest... if only they'd be a little clearer.. XD )

i have also emailed them but with no response yet... :/
& since there has been no response i figured i'd ask for your take because i knew it'd be pretty trustworthy or at least a valid attempt to help. so thanks for the effort! :)
