Warped Tour Interview Series (Part One): Larry And His Flask

Yesterday, I attended the Vans Warped Tour stop in Cincinnati, Ohio. Posts to follow will be a four-part series of interviews I conducted for ACRN.com while there!

Since Larry And His Flask played Jackie O's and appeared on Episode 8 of our Guest List video series last year, the acoustic-punk, roots-influenced, call-it-what-you-will outfit of six has completed a new album and started carving out a niche for themselves, which landed them on the full run of the 2011 Vans Warped Tour.

We caught up with bassist Jesse Marshall at the Cincinnati Warped Tour stop to talk about the band's upcoming punk festival run, the changes the band has made over the years and to figure out who the hell Larry is.

My Chemical Romance Mystery Twitter Accounts

Shortly after the cryptic change of My Chemical Romance's website, a strange Twitter account called "Dr. Death Defying" appeared. It was followed by only NewsAGoGo and a friend of the band when it reached out mysteriously to one fan, who tipped everyone off. Source: People[dot]com According to People[dot]com, My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar recently received a devastating shock when, a week after sending his German Shepard mix companion to a trainer, he received her cremated remains without a clear explanation for the dog's death. The drummer is filing a lawsuit against the trainer, who has changed the story of Dixie's death multiple times and who acted without Bryar's permission to cremate her.
