My Chemical Romance Big Day Out "Sideshows" Announced

Big Day Out has announced three "sideshow" dates My Chemical Romance are set to play while on the touring festival.

Tickets go on sale to the public Monday, November 28. However, a pre-sale for fans will run Friday November 25 through Sunday, November 27.

The shows, for which Closure in Moscow is set to open, will be played at smaller venues (roughly 5,000-6,000 capacity compared to stadiums of roughly 40,000) and have a more intimate feeling than the larger festival.

Bands playing BDO often do "side tours" while on the Australia-and-New-Zealand-spanning festival tour.

Shortly after the cryptic change of My Chemical Romance's website, a strange Twitter account called "Dr. Death Defying" appeared. It was followed by only NewsAGoGo and a friend of the band when it reached out mysteriously to one fan, who tipped everyone off.
