My Chemical Romance Explode-Start European Tour in London

Through the live-tweeting of Kerrang! Magazine and fans at the show, MCR followers from all over the world were able to get a glimpse of My Chemical Romance's comeback show at London's Hammersmith Apollo tonight.

According to Kerrang!, the band's setlist was as follows:

"Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)"
"Thank You For The Venom"
"Dead!"
"Cemetery Drive"
"Planetary (GO!)"
"I'm Not Okay (I Promise)"
"Give 'Em Hell, Kid"
"Our Lady Of Sorrows"*
"I Don't Love You"
"You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison"
"The Only Hope For Me Is You"
"Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us"*
"This Is How I Disappear"
"Welcome To The Black Parade"
"Helena"
"Mama"
"Teenagers"
"The Ghost Of You"
"Famous Last Words"
"Sleep"
"Cancer"
-ENCORE-
"The Kids From Yesterday"*

*Gerard Way had hinted that they would play "The Kids From Yesterday and Bullets songs in an interview today.

Kerrang! tweeted that Gerard Way's thanks to the crowd before "Cancer" was: "London thank you so much. We are really excited about this record, but we're more excited about the next 10 years of this band."

Filling out the sound on drums was The Bled's Michael Pedicone. Pedicone raised suspicions of his playing for MCR with tweets from London throughout the day. Including one that read: "London, Ye hath been warned..."

After the show, Pedicone had this to say about the crowd's reception of him: "Best show ever, London thank you so much for the warm welcome as well as all you mcrmy and killjoys. Yall are the downest posse!"

From fan accounts, I have gathered that the number of fans who camped outside for the show exceeded 50 by 4 a.m. UK time. Fans are already waiting for the band's show tomorrow in Manchester, and many are making their exodus straight from the Hammersmith Apollo to Manchester's O2 Apollo right now.

Have fun, Killjoys!

OH MY GOD I am so happy they're playing Bullets stuff again. If and when they come to Indiana (or surrounding areas) they had better play some Bullets stuff. For serious.

We were all singing along, even to the new stuff, it sounded quite different there to how the recordings have picked it up!

At one point Gee looked quite surprised when the crowd was word perfect on The only hope for me is you...
