Bands + Auctioning Epic Stuff on eBay = A Great Way to Support a Good Cause!
Often, bands like to give back, and a couple of my favorites are doing so this week by offering up sweet things on eBay. Please check out these auctions:
• Rock Legends Autographed Guitar for Charity
This is a Fender guitar signed by members of Alkaline Trio, Rise Against, T.S.O.L, The Gaslight. Anthem, and many more. Proceeds go to Wheels for Humanity. The bid as of my posting time is only $305.00, which is very reasonable for the value of the item.
• Umbrella Academy with Original Sketch by Gerard Way
A special edition hardback trade-issue of the first series of Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance's comic, The Umbrella Academy. It comes with an original sketch (NOT A REPRINT) of the comic's character Spaceboy. Very few people can say they own an original piece of Gerard Way's art, so this is something that is hard to pass up. The auction benefits a friend of the artist who has been diagnosed with cancer. The money will go toward making her home wheelchair accessible.
